Oh no no no. No f'ing way.
I believe that's still a Honda engine in there and I would assume it's attached to a Honda transmission, so what AWD system did he use? Because I'm not aware of any AWD cars in Honda's '92 lineup so this is some kind of batshit crazy Frankenstein's monster drive train and I wouldn't pay $1K for someone's project that probably came to him in a sleepless, mescaline induced nightmare.
Car manufacturers have a legion of engineers carefully putting together an engine/transmission/AWD system (transfer case/differentials) where no component will overpower any other in the system and even then flaws in individual components can fail. I trust this guy's engineering skills about half as far as I could throw him.
"AWD Honda" might as well be "Honda with live grenade that's pin is dangling in the transmission case" because when it goes it's going to put the "grenade" in "dude, you just grenaded your car"

The AWD Civic Wagon (original CRV) was still around in '92.
Although, in the ad the guy states he uses a 98 Eclipse system.

I always love these Craigslist posts where the seller says "Don't ask me a bunch of questions..." Um, if you want $7,500 from me, you bet your ass I'm going to ask a bunch of questions—especially if you have this crazy AWD, Mitsubishi-engine-swapped pile of car. What if I buy it, and then some super-unusual/trick fabbed part breaks? It'd really help if I had some information from the guy who built it. Because of the above statement, big pile of nope.

Don't forget the very popular "RUNS GREAT. BUT could use a tune...." So, why haven't YOU tuned it then? Oh, that's right, because its' a royal pain in the ass, very expensive to do correctly, and because if it did just "need a tune" you wouldn't be selling it. Typical CL ad, and some dumb 17 yr old is gonna buy it.

Didn't know the AWD Civic wagon was still kicking in '92.
I didn't catch the '98 Eclipse system in the ad, but that would pretty much be my cue to click "back" on my browser but as I said I'd be out on any backyard AWD transplant. There's just way too many parts that all have to work together, any one of which might be the unknown weak link that rears it's ugly head at 15K miles. I don't want to be on I35 doing 85 when my entire drive train disintegrates outward from that one weak ticking time bomb component.

The 4WD Civic wagon went away at the end of '91. After that, the CR-V was the only way to get a 4WD Honda for a while. The rear diffs on them look nothing like what this guy has pictured.

I could've sworn it carried on an extra year in some markets.
Also, a little known fact: Honda made AWD 92-95 Civic and Integra sedans. They were sold in limited numbers in Japan and Europe.

You are correct, I believe Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Australia got those.
